ARGUMENTATIE:
Meer sport in de openbare ruimte is een aandachtspunt. Momenteel staat een tijdelijke Sportcontrainer in het Theo van Goghpark. Uit de evaluatie zal moeten blijken hoe hier een vervolg aan wordt gegeven.

I live on IJburg and we do not have outdoor sports places (with pull-up bars and other calisthenics equipment). Most close one is in Diemerpark, but it is not well equipped (lacks good horizontal bars) and not easy reachable (not walkable).

I noticed one unused spot that looks a bit ugly and unused. (see image from link):

If this spot is not planned for anything like a building or something in Amsterdam's plans it could be used for building a park in the area.

If that comes true, let me know how can I help with this.

P.S. My Dutch is still very limited so I can only explain in English and probably not particpate in meetup-s yet.

I believe it is a good idea, but would prefereren another location however. What about close to the skateboard field next to Centrumeiland?

I selected that area just because it is currently "ugly" and not maintained (there is usually a jungle in summer time). It also close to main transport (for people who would like to use tram after training). And it is reactively easy to get there from many parts from ... lees meer

I saw that, it is a great solution. It does not have good set of horizontal bars but it overall it looks very good.
