Update bij Ijburg, show your awareness. Pollution Free IJburg. No Fireworks on New year eve.

Everything starts with someone saying the truth. The truth is, our entertainment way for new year eves are out of hand, out of sanity, out of enjoyment. It became a destructive force. We are polluting our environment by air, by sound. It is World Wide. It needs to be transformed from insanity towards sanity. People are encouraged to buy fireworks products. There was a special shop opened at IJburg for that in December. I know it is people's choice but if more and more people start celebrating differently, it will be transformed. It is our choice.
This year (2014 to 2015), I have invited my friends to my house. We talked, sang songs, went outside and made a small fire. Instead of fireworks, we send out sky-lanterns. I find them much more beautiful. And each of them you can send a wish for your new year!
If we do not change, who will? Everything starts with individual transformation. Want to Join ?
