Wintermarkt Set

Op 15 december organiseert Set samen met de buurt een gezellige wintermarkt op het terrein voor het pand. Een soort kerstmarkt, maar dan iets wereldser! We hebben spelletjes, muziek, gratis koffie en thee, warme chocolademelk, kraampjes met oliebollen, poffertjes en andere snacks en een prachtige wensenboom.
Tussen 13.00 en 17.00 uur staat er ook een weggeefkraam waar je kunt snuffelen naar mooie spullen. Heb je nog kleding, potten, pannen, kerstspullen etc. over om iemand anders blij mee te maken? Breng het dan op 15 december tussen 12 en 16 uur naar de weggeefkraam :) (Let op: de spullen kunnen niet te groot zijn, ze moeten op de kraam passen.)
Wil je een handje helpen? Graag! We zoeken nog oliebollenbakkers, mensen die warme chocolademelk willen uitdelen, op het weggeefkraam willen passen of kleine hand en spandiensten willen verrichten. Voor de avond zoeken we mensen die het leuk vinden een winters verhaal te vertellen, muziek te maken of te helpen met het buffet. Alle hulp is welkom, ook als je bijvoorbeeld maar een uurtje kunt. Set is een levendig woonproject op IJburg waar jonge statushouders, starters en studenten samen met de buurt bouwen aan een gezellige community.

On December 15th Set and the neighbourhood are organising a Winter Market in front of the Set building. Kind of like a traditional Christmas market, but a little more worldly ;) There will be games, music, free coffee and tea, hot chocolate, stands with oliebollen, poffertjes and other snacks and a beautiful wishing tree.
Between 13.00 and 17.00 there will also be a give-away stand where you can look for (free) things that you need. Do you have any clothes, pots, pans, Christmas articles etc. that you don’t use and would like to give to someone else? Feel free to bring your stuff to the stand on the 15th between 12.00 and 16.00 o’clock. (Please mind: the items have to fit on the stand and therefore cannot be too big.)
Would you like to help us organise this party? That’s great! We are still looking for people who would like to make oliebollen, hand out hot chocolate, mind the give-away stand or just help around where needed. For the evening we are looking for people who would like to tell a wintery story, play some music or help out at the buffet. All help is appreciated, even if you can’t stay the entire day.
