This is happening, and it will continue happening, because Zuidoever is the only green area in the neighborhood. It's fine to have a fenced nature reserve, but it's not OK to create a concrete wasteland outside of it. The dog area is tiny and inadequate for the number of dogs already living in the neighborhood. It's already bad, and it will only get worse as more people move in. The planners have only themselves to blame for this mistake and it's consequences. There's many canal banks and neglected areas that can be reworked into nice little parks and small dog parks. When this is done, people will no longer have no other choice but to go to Zuidoever. Otherwise, nothing is going to change here.
