Theatraal IJburg (Jeugdtheaterschool TIJ) ontwikkelt en organiseert al tien jaar kunstcultuur-educatie en media-activiteiten in Amsterdam-Oost. TIJ is een stichting zonder winstoogmerk met een klein kernteam en helder bestuur. Theatraal IJburg staat voor een kwalitatief kunstaanbod voor iedereen.

Met de Jeugdtheaterschool, de kunsteducatieve projecten binnenschools, BSO activiteiten, het festival “Spektakel op IJburg” en IJburgTV met een eigen zender, is TIJ stevig verankerd in de omgeving en als cultureel baken niet meer weg te denken uit Amsterdam-Oost.

TIJ Kunsteducatie
Wij willen graag zoveel mogelijk kinderen en jongeren laten kennismaken met theater. Wij vinden een ontmoeting met kunst voor ieder kind belangrijk. Daarom zijn wij op vele plekken te vinden: op basisscholen, in het voortgezet onderwijs, in de wijken en in ons eigen huis. Als cultureel ondernemer kiest TIJ bewust voor bereikbaar en betaalbare theatereducatie.

Achtergrond
Onze activiteiten zijn onder te verdelen in vier pijlers:

• Jeugdtheaterschool TIJ - theaterlessen - spel, dans, muziek en media- voor iedereen tussen 4 en 16 jaar oud


• Kunsteducatieve activiteiten- op basisscholen, voortgezet onderwijs en binnen de naschoolse- en buitenschoolse opvang. Twee keer per jaar theaterinstuif met gratis kennismaking lessen voor iedereen


• Spektakel op IJburg- terugkerend theaterfestival voor de hele familie in het Diemerpark


• IJburg TV- lokale internetzender die reportages maakt met IJburg bewoners die hart hebben voor hun wijk en waar zij hun expertise delen.

Theatrical IJburg (Jeugdtheaterschool TIJ) has been developing and organizing art culture education and media activities in Amsterdam East for ten years now. TIJ is a non-profit foundation with a small core team and clear management. Theatrical IJburg stands for a high-quality range of art for everyone.

With the Youth Theater School, the art-educational projects in school, BSO activities, the festival “Spektakel op IJburg” and IJburgTV with its own channel, TIJ is firmly anchored in the environment and as a cultural beacon it has become an indispensable part of Amsterdam East.

TIJ Art Education
We would like to introduce as many children and young people as possible to theater. We believe that an encounter with art is important for every child. That is why we can be found in many places: in primary schools, in secondary education, in the neighborhoods and in our own home. As a cultural entrepreneur, TIJ consciously opts for accessible and affordable theater education.

Background
Our activities can be divided into four pillars:

Youth theater school TIJ - theater lessons - play, dance, music and media - for everyone between 4 and 16 years old

Art education activities - in primary schools, secondary education and within after-school and after-school care. Twice a year theater party with free introduction lessons for everyone

IJburg Spectacle - recurring theater festival for the whole family in the Diemerpark

IJburg TV - local internet channel that makes reports with IJburg residents who are passionate about their neighborhood and where they share their expertise.
